Posted on Oct 4th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 04, 2009:

I spend most my time at home in the bedroom, sleeping 6-8 hours per day. The kitchen would come next with 1-2 hours per day.

If you were to create a retreat center, what would it be like?

Posted on Oct 4th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 03, 2009:

I call it the Ideal Self Institute. It is a facility situated on high energy real estate over looking the ocean. It is a place where people can learn to master themselves... body, mind and soul. It is a place where one can build practices and rituals and deeply root them in thier being so that they can effectivly return to the main stream and be unwaivering in thier vision and purpose. It is a place for cultivating physical, emotional, and spritual strength, endurance and flexiility

I learned that embracing my dark side can lead me to light. I learned that physical age is not to be used as a guage of wisdom. I learned the life is calling me more strongly toward shamanisim. I learned that I have what I need. Been a neat week.

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 05, 2009:

A woman in her early 20's playing with concepts of shamanism and consciousness ties with a singer / meditator I met in sagnha. I know very little about either of them and yet they captivate me and I want to know thier hearts.

When you feel tense or stressed, what do you do to relax?

Posted on Oct 6th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
All depends. Sometime meditate, sometimes beat the drums, other times sexual release, other times a good workout... Having multiple outlets is useful.

Who in the world do you feel most similar to?

Posted on Oct 7th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 27, 2009:

From the angle of kinship and similarity...
This is not one person at all times. I often find that the many different people in my life offer kinship via energy, attention and understanding unique to the dynamic between us. We may align very deeply on some viewpoints and not at all on others. Sometime this is a lover, others times a long time buddy, even a new friend. It is at times a spiritual teacher. The words of Ram Dass are clearer to me than any other teacher to date.

Who do you miss most right now?

Posted on Oct 7th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 26, 2009:

I am resisting this question being that I am in the midst of a separation. My auto-response is  that I miss my wife and daughter; however, I am noticing that I don't want to go into that space at the moment. It is not so much WHO I miss but WHAT I miss and the WHAT is historically tied to the WHO.  I miss the space wherein organic intimate heart to heart exchanges can occur and exploration of another's heart, mind and soul is readily available. In solitude this is limited AND it makes any heart to heart exchanges all the more potent when they show up.

I am learning that this experience of WHAT I want is not exclusively tied to the WHO.

What makes something sacred?

Posted on Oct 13th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 11, 2009:

Tao

To me all things are sacred. All things spring from Divine Mind. There is no exception to this. There has been an on going debate for several years between me and close significant other pertaining to what we commonly call "special".

If all things are sacred / special can one thing or person be more sacred or special than another?

From the perspective of Divine Mind or God Consciousness it is all sacred… you, me, the villain, the victim, the saint, the oppressor… all divine, all sacred.

From the perspective of ego I buy into separateness and assign value and meaning to things and people insomuch as they serve my egoic wants and needs. These things become mine, special and take on a distorted perspective of sacredness because of the immense attachment my ego has to them. Those things and people that I have no ego attachment to are unimportant to me and therefore dispensable or disposable, not sacred.

I am not condemning the ego. I am currently in a process of recognizing the value of the ego as it pertains to assisting me in motivation toward the life that I want. Ego is driving force that helps propel me through resistance. I may have recently silenced my ego in an effort to live a mindful and conscious life and in doing so I may have created an imbalance. I am not sure… perhaps it is just that I am shifting from my ego being in control to my ego being my aide and servant. I am still working with this.

I must take care to see the sacredness and separateness of all things simultaneously.

Happiness Reserve

Posted on Oct 13th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
Upon reading a passage from Thich Nhat Hanh "Life is full of suffering. If we dont have enough happiness on reserve, we have no means to take care of our despari." What occurs to me is that some of us are clearly in the cycle of collecting these reserves thru great and wonderful moments while others of us are relying of our reserves thru trying times. I can observe this cycle in myself and otherssss close to me. I am thankful for my reserves and I look forward to creating more for the roads ahead.

Do you consider yourself fortunate?

Posted on Oct 29th, 2009 by josh : Galactic Activation Portal josh
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 29, 2009:

I do consider myself very fortunate. I perceive that all circumstances are unfolding FOR me and not just random stuff happening TO me. Standing in this place allows me to feel the awesomeness of life supporting me. I like the idea that fortune and abundance are both aspects of recognizing that everything I require is made available to me. My job is to ask “how is this circumstance perfect?” I think that the common experience of what we commonly perceive luck to be… is the appearance of one being in this kind of flow. What is needed show up when needed.

It is also worth mentioning that some things that seem lucky don’t always end up being a useful experience in the long run. It is like the Zen story if the boy who got the horse “how wonderful…. “

“we’ll see.”
