Who would you really like to get to know?

My dad. My relationship with my Dad has always been superficial. It has been more about who am I supposed to be in his eyes rather than who I am. It has been about him knowing what path is right for me and everyone else instead of trusting that we are all engaged with the path that is correct for our personal evolution. I am struggling to get thru to see who he is beyond the surface. I suppose I have painted a similar jacket on him. It is my opportunity to accept these aspects of him that I have resistance to. He is only reflecting an aspect of me that I have an issue with.  We had a moment a few years ago where the space was created to go further. It was nice while brief.

What does happiness feel like?

Peace. Happiness to me are the moments when I have no wants or fears and what ever I am experiencing at the moment is perfect and I can authentically appreciate it.

What could someone do to make you happy?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 22, 2009:

No one can MAKE me happy. That is my job. My job is easier when given the gift of freedom. By freedom I mean to take full responsiblisty for their habits, behaviors, actions, and fears. To give me the gift of working on themselves to remove anything within them that would want to keep me stuck in anything like obligation, guilt, or fear. Furthermore, for them to want for me what I want for myself and to have thier actions aligned with this. Authentic intererest and compassion go along way as well.
